Kim Kardashian has managed to be the "it" girl (or the "it" whore) these days. "It" is of course her willingness to come out with as little on as possible while also showcasing her protruding behind.
She now wants to be royalty. According to the Daily Mail (a story which the Kardashians deny, but which I believe since it is just like their crass and aggressive style), Kim Kardashian sent Kate Middleton a sample of her clothes from her Kardashian Kollection for Kate to wear (and of course to showcase). And the usually tactful Kate Middleton saved her breath, and simply sent her back the package. The online site for Time Magazine similarly reports that Kate sent back the clothing.
The arrogant and narcissistic Kardashian (all her family is like that) is in England to promote her Kollection, and even asked the Duchess of Cambridge out for tea. Kim told Time:
Kate seems like a really sweet person and she’s a princess...We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats.

"She is a princess" sounds like what a five-year-old would say. Of course, this coarse flaunter has no idea about the tradition, and reverence, one might hold for royalty, and sees the whole thing as some kind of Hollywood Cinderella story, where she can play at being a princess during an afternoon tea with a real princess.

Is this Kim Kardashian's fairy tale princess dream?

Kate is no innocent either. She was recently caught sunbathing bare-breasted, and despite her holiday's private locale I wrote:
Well, Kate Middleton, aka the Duchess of Cambridge, bride to the future king of England and ruler of the Commonwealth, parades around topless on an island resort while on vacation, and sees nothing contradictory about attending a princely (and princessly) visit to the Muslim country of Malaysia in a "respectful" hijab.
Hasn't she learned from the folly of her predecessors that anything the royals do is fodder for the public? Topless in a remote island while on vacation? What a silly woman. And why is she topless in the presence of her husband? Cannot she muster a little modesty in front of him?

But, still, I like her style and she's somewhat demure in this age of all-exposure. I think she's trying to bring some decorum back into the scandal-filled British monarchy, and with her husband, the quiet and serious Prince William, I think she may just do so.
